I use Ruttensoft homescreen designer for my homescreens, however, when I use an animated gig as a background picture the result is a static picture on my phone.

How do I get an animated gif as my homescreen????

You have to have animated theme and the program to run it. Check out this site:

You may also convert your animated gifs to madbeetle ani format so you can have them on your animated homescreen.

why can't i insert my own gifs? i can make my own animations, why do i need to pay for this superflous software?

Simply because there is no homescreen plugin available yet which allows you to insert animated GIFs.

Help please!

I installed a few themes on my phone.

They changed also my start menu background!!!

I dont know how to rollback to original settings.

I tried to uninstall, but nothing changes.

Go to Start>setting>Home Screen and change color scheme to default or whatever you were using before. If you also want to change the background then change the background image while you are on there.
