supevery1 . juts purhcased an imate sp3i smartphone..been playing a round plenty with the home screens . need help from anybody on how to install/run a .rar homescreen.

A RAR file is just like a ZIP archive.

You 'unrar' it first (extract contents of the RAR archive) on your PC then if you find an XML and JPEG files inside, transfer them to \Storage\Application Data\Home of your phone via ActiveSync.

On your phone, open Settings > Homescreen then look for the name of the homescreen from the list. Hit Done (left soft key) to load the homescreen.

Just a thought, you are sure it has a .rar extention? Lots of homescreens are cab files which can be opened by winrar. If it's a cab file just copy it to the phone and run it from there.

Have you tried un rar'ing it then unzipping the pluggins and copying the lot to the homescreen directory?

dont tht dude . works well with applyin the homescreens but the plugins dont

install . thx dude . appreciate ur assistance
