Guest b0bby Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 (edited) My C500 only has 21% program memory left... so i can ever run the video recorder... it says "Unable to continue recording video: Not enough memory" Is there any way to make programs close themselves? instead of me having to go into SP Task Manager and manually close them all. Unlike windows SP2003 doesnt have little 'x's in the top right to close apps :'( (even after closing all apps i still only have 33% memory free) According to SP Task Mngr theres 24 System processes) Cheers Rob Edited August 15, 2005 by b0bby
Guest cna Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 I also have this problem. When I'm trying to save a picture onto the home screen. It says "not enough memory" and when I check in the 'About' option it says I only have about 0.31 MB of memory left (although this figure changes every time I check it). I have music, but that's on the storage card and I haven't saved anything onto the phone memory. Also it says not enough memory to switch to preview mode for the camera, so I can't use that either. The odd time it does work, when I try to take a picture it says "Unable to capture frame device" (or words similar) Can anyone tell me what that means? Many thanks

Many thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have made a shortcut to Quickclose (http://www.surrealservices.dsl.pipex.com/QuickClose.exe) in my homescreen, i use it at least once a day to close all running non-system apps. Just after running Quickclose, Memory Used is about 63% procent according to Battery Pack Pro. Thats sufficinet to run the Camera app or TomTom Mobile... You could also assign a button on the keypad to the program to make it even more accessible. Edited August 15, 2005 by pwhooftman2
