Guest spenh Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 yet another bluetooth gps reciever problem. got a fuzion bluetooth gps receiver from pdamods.com but i cant get it to work with tomtom5,smart hiker or camera aware on my spv500. i tried to send it back to pdamods, but they said because tomtom reports "no gps deivice" and not no gps signal, they wont have it back - so thats £75 up the swanny. after numerous emails with there technical support team i have got nowhere. so far i have tried the following - done a hard reset, used the original tomtom card and not the files copied onto my card - paired the devices and i get nothing, i've tried this before pairing my tomtom receiver in case there was some kind of conflict. messed around with the comports and tried every possible combination. changed the name of the receiver to tom tom wireless gps. anybody got any other suggestions to get it to work, the phone shows the gps unit and phone are paired ok and the gps unit lights up to show its connected to the phone. the spv500 has the latest rom installed on it if not anyone want to buy a fuzion bluetooth gps receiver?
