C550 on Pay as you go?

I am wanting to get a C550 as an upgrade from my C500. To upgrade through Orange it will be £293 as I upgraded recently. Is there any other way I can get the phone? Are the orange shops selling it on pay as you go? Any help or links would be very much appreciated.

I bought mine from an Orange shop on Thursday, £179.99 or £149.99 with a trade in. They only got them in on Thursday, and knocked me for six when they said they had them on PAYG, I had to double check it wasn't the C500, they had none of them in.
