Guest cabane77 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 hi guys, can anyone say if the sandisk card will work on the M500 ? is yes, where is the best place to get it (cheap ) ? thanks a lot
Guest dave_a Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I use the card with my M500 and it works well although it seems to require a signal above around 50% strength to be able to asssociate with a wireless network but I don't know if that is true of all wi-fi cards. The problem is finding it for sale as I think it is now discontinued. The only place I found it was i1010 about a month ago but just quickly checked their website and it doesn't appear to be there any more.
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 FWIW I've found that WiFi can be badly affected by other wireless stuff (no great surprise I suppose) Cordless landline phones in particular it seems - so much so that some of our laptops can't connect to the WLAN if the cordless phone is too near them. If they're already connected then they get a flaky connection. Ban cordless phones so we can have cooler gadgets I say!
