Guest beersoft Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 Ok, this has been bugging me for a few weeks, but i made it work as you know the m500 has the voicenotes button programmed to fonix, and if you want to reprogram it its a longpush for new feature or short push for fonix the easy way is in file explorer go to /windows and rename voicedial.exe to something else (i used xxvoicedial.exe) reboot the phone and enjoy the nonvoicedialness of the voice notes button later Owen
Guest NikLP Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 (edited) There's GOT to be a registry hack to reset this, surely? Edit: in fact, shouldn'tthe AEButton application allow for this functionality? Edited August 19, 2005 by NikLP
Guest WILBUR Posted October 25, 2005 Report Posted October 25, 2005 the easy way is in file explorer go to /windows and rename voicedial.exe to something else (i used xxvoicedial.exe) I've got to say that was quite definately the simplest and most useful piece of advice I've ever had the pleasure to read on this or any other forum. Oh the joy of all access to all 4 buttons. I'm sure the registry change solutions suggested in other threads are technically better but this took all of 2 seconds... Many thanks!
