saving photos and video to memory card

hi

i am having trouble saving photos and video to my 512 mini sd card..

i have had the sd card for over 1 month now and only now has this problem started..

when i take the pic/video it will say destination folder not present...

when i go into storage card/ my documents there is nothing there.. and it wont let me create a folder

help needed
