The camera application will save the photos where you tell it to, but it will create subdirectories within that folder to reflect that day's date, and put the photos in there. There's another post about somewhere, where I speculated that it may be possible to change via a registry setting, but I can't remember where it is, so I couldn't say if anyone has replied or not...!

AFAICT you can only tell it "Main Memory" or "Storage Card", and it then creates folders under there

What I'd like (and I think Furby's talking about the same thing) is to tell it "Storage Card\Photos" and "Storage Card\Video" and for it to put the date-formatted folders under there.

Thanks for the replies. Ye if I could specify in the registry where to save in the storage card that's be better,

But my real gripe is having to open all the individual folders when I want to look at pictures. Would rather have them all in one folder, i like to flick through them all at the same time. Not exactly desperate, but it'd be nice

:o Someone posted a fix for thid at XDA Developers and it works great. Yay.

There's actually a way to do this (to get rid of the dated folders). The latest T-Mobile WWE ROM 1.12.152 has a latest version 2.70 (Build 20117) Camera for PocketPC app by HTC in its Ext_ROM. This app lets you save pictures and videos to any type of memory on your device (Main, Storage, Storage Card) and DOES NOT create dated folders. It saves pictures directly in \...\My Documents\My Pictures.

Oh, and another thing... It also automatically flips display right (landscape mode, camera button on top) when you activate camera. After exit, it automatically reverts to a portrait mode

Anyone tried this yet?

I downloaded it the other day, but haven't got around to installing it yet

Wasn't there just a registry change that could be made to specify the folder to be My Pictures (or whatever yoiu choose to call it)? I thought it was HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IA Style\IA Album for Smartphone\2.00\Strings\Path (where mine says Storage Card\My Documents) but the last time I changed it to Storage Card\My Pictures nothing happened :??:

Did a forum search but couldn't find the tweak - anyone know what it is?

;) Just installed this on a Qtek S110 and works a treat!! :D

All photos are now stored on my SD card under My documents\My Pictures - without dated folders.
