Help - SPV C500 & Globalsat BT-338 GPS

Hi,

I have just purchased a used C500 to use with my BT-338 GPS receiver, the phone has the new Orange rom installed (4.2.1.1) so the menus etc are different from the user guide.

I am unable to connect the receiver to the phone via bluetooth although the phone reports that they are connected, I am quite sure that it is some setting that I have missed but would someone please give instructions & put me out of my misery.
