Using non standard plugins

Hi, I have been using v1.3.2 to produce some homescreens recently and would like to know if there is a way of using 3rd party plugins (not provided in the program) I would like to use one of the battery plugins on my homescreen but cannot see how to do it.

Any help would be appreciated
