Voicemail on Orange... speed dial weirdness

I have an SPV C500 on Orange in the UK, (have had it for a while). For some reason, over the past few days, the phone number that I dial to get to my voicemail, (hard coded to speed dial 1) keeps resetting itself to "+", rather than "+44 7777123456" (not the actual number but you know what I mean).

I can go to phone options and type the correct number into the appropriate field under settings/phone/call options. This will work for a few hours, but will then reset itself for no apparent reason.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

The default setting when you get a new C500 is "+", for some bizarre

Is anything else changing when the number resets?

Have you tried changing it to 123?
