Guest tdfranke Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 I am trying to install Microsoft Global Contact Access on a Samsung SCH-i600 (Smartphone 2003), and am unable to get the installation completed.. I get a message indicating that the installation fails because it could not find a "digitally signed", trusted certificate. (message on the i600). Verizon is the provider.. Any ideas? I have tried the unlock patch on the samsung telcom website, with no luck..
Guest SinisterJunkie Posted August 19, 2005 Report Posted August 19, 2005 The patch on the samsung site is only for WM2002. I would bet this has to do with the fact that a section of the registry is locked down on the i600. There is also an issue with some of the certificates not being accepted by all devices for some reason. I have had some trouble installing certain programs and haven't had a chance yet to complain to Verizon. I don't expect much help from Verizon, but figure it worth a shot before I switch carriers.
