No email on SMT5600

I added my email account to my smt5600 and set it to check every 15 minutes. But it's not doing that. I have to go send/receive email everytime I want to get my email. So what is the point of setting the account to check email every 15min. Am i doing something wrong? It's wierd, I have never been able to get this to work. I just recently did a hard reset to refresh the phone because I was having some problems and i thought that would solve it. But it didn't. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have more than 1 email account set up?

You have to do a manual send and receive first then the auto should work but ti stops if you check another account until you do a manual on the acccount with auto set up.
