3G smartphone news?

Hi,

I've been looking for news on some smartphones supporting 3G but can't find much. I'm thinking of upgrading to Vodafone 3G to get hold of the Sharp 903 and use it as my 'fun' phone. I'd also like to upgrade to my SP3i to something better towards the end of the year, to use for more practical purposes.

Any news on 3G capable smartphones in the near future? I've seen that T-mobile one with the qwerty keyboard, MDA IV - I think it's called. Anything a bit more conventional?

The MDA IV is the HTC Universal and will be released on Orange as the M5000. It is a fantastic bit of kit and I want one! But you're right, it's not a SmartPhone (it's a PPC). AFAIK there are no SmartPhones even rumoured yet with 3G which is a bit of a shame.

Unless anyone knows different?

Wasnt there some talk of the C600 having 3G? Also is it me or do all the pics of the c600 look identical to the c500?

Errr... no. Think you're referring to the apparently false pics that were circulated a while ago. The latest pics of the HTC Tornado (C600) are on the main page at the mo and trust me when I say it looks nothing like the C500.

EDIT: forgot to say no unfortunately doesn't look like it'll have 3g, just wifi and WM5.
