Guest beermonstermatt Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Hello Need some advise, Just about to buy a PDA phone, was all set to get a M500 when I wondered in to the O2 shop and saw the XDAIIi, now this I like the look of, very fast processor, lots of memory, and built in Wi-Fi what’s more I can get it for £35 on a decent tariff. I know it’s a lot bigger than the M500 but I can live with that and it does have a bigger screen, So here’s the question has any one got one / used one etc.. any feed back would be great, as most of the posts tend to be about the M500 & M2000, also is this device available under any other name / network? I.e. the M500 is a Jam is a XDA Compact etc.. Any Help on how to spend my money would be great! Thanks Matt :)
Guest Pondrew Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Hi there. Unfortunately the XDAIIi (HTC Alpine) is only currently available from O2 and I-Mate (as the PDA2). Most of what I've read about it is good but haven't got any hands on experience with one. I personally don't think the size will be a problem. I have an MDAIII (HTC Blue Angel) which is bigger then the XDAIIi. Doesn't cause me any problems (although I do use my SPV E200 when carrying a PDA isn't a good idea...)
Guest beermonstermatt Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 Thanks for that am now 99% certain I will go for the XDAIIi. The more I look at it the moor I like the look of it. Off the the shops the weekend I Think...... :)
