Guest gillsr Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 File Name :: Smurf - Bluetooth Logger Author :: gillsr Category :: Tools - Fun Description :: Smurf is a Bluetooth Logging program for MS Smartphone, it scans at a set interval and retrieves a list of all the bluetooth devices your device can see. It can also automatically BlueJack devices based on simple rules. It has been created because I wanted to see how many bluetooth devices there are out there and if any of them had interesting names, with the intention of sending a message to those with interesting names. Great for pubs, trains and other enclosed spaces. Why smurf? well, they are blue... Guest rperalta Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 It's a nice and pretty cool program. I will try this when I get out of work on my train commute. Thanks and keep it up!
Guest UKResist Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 HI im new to these forums and i currently own the c500 and tried this smurt program out and cum across difficulties. it crashes ever time it tries to retrive the names. and when i go to bluejack it crashes on that 2. it either clashes with smart explorer or bluetooth.
Guest Tech Posted December 24, 2005 Report Posted December 24, 2005 a great way for picking up a chick on a bus or a pub ;)
Guest papcm Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 Does it works in QVGA Smartphones?
Guest skearon Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 Installs OK on iMate SP5, however doesn't find any devices :-( Do you plan on updating it ?
Guest koifish Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Works like a charm on a C500 with 2k3, way much better than current availlable solution, simple and working as advertised... free is beautyfull. keep up the good work !
Guest rickt Posted March 3, 2006 Report Posted March 3, 2006 Yeah , works great on my C500 too . As soon as the phone is switched on Smurf will automatically start up. Just remove the icon from the start up menu if you dont want this to happen .
Guest Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Again this looks like something I could use, thanks ;)
Guest Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Do I need to turn on Bluetooth manually or will the program turn it on/off each time as required ?
Guest Blus Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 On my spv C600 is not working. Don't detect anything.
Guest glinja Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 does it bluejack peoples phones that require passkey to retrive files, or does it bypass them
