SPV C550 Application Unlock

I am having big problems trying to application unlock my SPV C550, this is a replacement SPV C550 as I had a fault with the last one

I tried going to the orange developer site and unlock my C550 there but keeps saying it can't find my IMEI number in the Orange database, so I tried using the Registry tool on the Orange developer site to register my C550, and I click register, it says connecting to network to activate phone and I can see the GPRS logo come up so it must be connecting but nothing else happens, I tried my SPV C550 next morning and unlock it using the developer site but it still says it can't find the IMEI number

I need to app unlock this phone as I have Sprite Backup with required an unlocked phone to work, before I had my replacement C550 I made an image of the phone so I could restore it and have everything exactly as it was before, I am unable to do this until I unlock my phone :cry: :cry:

A while back I had an Orange SPV C500, that went faulty to, had it replaced and again unlocked that using the orange website no problem

Is there a way I can manually unlocked my SPV C550 so I can restore the backup of my phone, as I have all my contacts and all my apps in that backup :cry:

if you are having problems with the c550 application unlock you can also try the email option on the ota page , they will then make you an application that will unlock the phone :)

Have tried that when I had my first SPV C550, they never replied back to me :shock:
