Guest callan126 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 Hello to t all, I am a moderate smartphone user. I am not fuly sure of what my phone has to offer as far as its functions but I am interested in getting the homecreens and themes to work on my phone. I have installed the theme changer and some of the downloadable themes from this website. However, I cannot install them nor get them to show as selectable on my smartphone. I had read many faqs and the truth of the matter is I'm getting impatent. Can someone help me with instructions as how to install cab files to MPX200 running on OS2003 (unofficial). I wantmy phone to look..cooool :) Thanx in Advance.
Guest Lucifer7677 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 It's quite easy just copy the .cab files to your phone then execute (press blue button) in any file menager (remember which folder you put them in).
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 You install cab files the same way for all Smartphones, place the cab file in the following location. Storage\Windows\Start Menu\Accessories Once placed there, go to Start\Accessories on the phone and the cab will be there ready to be selected and installed.
Guest callan126 Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 Does the placing of the .cab file involve extracting it into the smartphones memory?
