some mpx200 questions

Ok so I am thinking of buying a mpx200. I know I am a little behind the times but it fits my budget and for the features it has for the cheap price is unbeatable, especially since there aren't many ms smartphones with a flip style form factor. I know that i will endlessly tinker with it and so I wanted to make sure I could find the things I would want to use before I actually bought it. This includes searching for the updated ROMs. I did find a ROM that is just labled as a 2003 version that is 23,324 Kb. Can anyone tell me which version ROM this is? I also have a 30.1 MB 2002 version ROM. Which one is this? I realize these might seem like stupid questions but I want to make sure I can find the right things before I buy the phone. I also found a torrent that contains many ROMS and is what I really need, but there aren’t any seeds for it so 5 of us are stuck at 60%. If anyone has this torrent it would be awesome if they could fire it up for a little while. That’s all my questions for now. Thanks in advance for the help…

We can't really tell what rom the 2003 one is without flashing and booting it up to check the homescreen boot image. The 2002 one sounds like the unbranded version of what comes with the phone (no AT&T or Orange junk).

I would stray away from torrent roms if I were you because many times they come back as corrupt and you might not know it. You could have a dead phone on your hands so stick w/ the web stuff. Plus, those 2 roms are all you'll need so there's no need to download a pack of roms for any reason.

You are better off not playing with different ROMs the problems outweigh the benefits.

Also there are no legal ROM downloads for the MPX200.
