ive been watching progress on this, on & off, its google earth or mgmaps for phones with java / internet (or wap) connection. im quitly impressed with it cos its not gps & its free. supposedly some phones can get satelite images (with all the map tiles you wait for them to load as you pan across or zoom). anyone else been checking this out, im no tech head so would be interested if smartphone folk have got sat images working? so far im looking at various world locations in map format, i think smartphone may need extra scripting for sat image support (i get a "not available" sign on sattelite page)
