alternate way to turn speakerphone on

I was making a phone call the other day and I hit the hardware "talk" key twice and the phone went to speakerphone. So I tried it a few more times and it seems to work.

I just thought I would put it out there to see if anyone else can get this to work. . .

It's nice not having to hold the talk button down for speakerphone, sometimes I just can't look at the screen to find out if it's on or not.

If this was already known please disregard this post.

Tried on SPV C500 decerted ,after the call began pressed the green key (Answer) twice and got the following error :"Operation failed unable to conference the calls " ,had i done something wrong ?
