No Email accounts working

Hi,

I've tried for several weeks to set up email accounts on my M2000 without any success. I have tried to use Orange email, Hotmail (I'm a Plus member) and my workplace email but all of them return the same message:

"Unable to connect to the incoming mail server, please verify the server name is correct and try again to send and receive mail"

I have spoken to Orange data support, they have verified that for the Orange account at least I am using all the correct addresses, user names, servers etc. but I am still having no luck. Orang have so far been unable to help as well.

The phone is able to browse the internet using both wifi and GPRS, but both of these return the same error message when I try to use email.

This is really starting to drive me mad what is the point of paying for an expensive PDA if it doesn't even have the same email functionality of my old E200?! (Sorry, minor rant over). Does anyone have any ideas at all?
