C500 contacts keep re-syncing to outlook

Has anyone else found the issue that their contacts keep re-syncing with outlook 2003 even though you have not actually changed the contents.

Even opening the contact (e.g. to dial) seems to put it on the 'dirty' list so that activesync thinks that it needs to re-sync with outlook on the PC.

The sync happens and of course nothing changes as the contact has not actually been edited.

I realise that this does not actually destroy data, but it is annoying as it should not be happening. Other PPC devices don't act this way.
