Juggling certificates in CF

How do I load a certificate (x509) on my spv c500? I have a scenario where I am doing some communication between a server and a smart device, which needs to be signed. I cannot figure out how to load the certificate, as the LoadCertificateFromFile (can't remember the exact name) isn't available in CF.

I suspect that i need to get the certificate from the local certificate repository, but I have no idea where to start.
