Guest J273 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 Since im having problems with my orange payg settings im gonna probably start using my o2 payg sim ive got it setup using these settings: Internet Accnts: -Accnt name: O2 WAP GPRS -Conn. type: GPRS -user name: payandgo -password: Password -Address: payandgo.o2.co.uk -IP add. auto: Tick -DNS add. auto: Tick -Use Proxy: Tick -Proxy add: 193.113.200.195 -Proxy port: 8080 -Enable PPP: Tick WAP Accnt: -Accnt name: O2 WAP GPRS -Int. Accnt.: O2 WAP GPRS -Use Proxy: Tick -Add: 193.113.200.195 -Port: 9201 -user name: (blank) -password: (blank) changing the port to 8080 to allow full net access but can i from these settings recieve my emails,ive set it up so it connects through my work connection which is the only way to allow full access with o2 . it just comes up with errors the settings are correct (email settings) im sure its got somthing to do with the connection settings ,any ideas would be great,thanks
Guest J273 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 it comes up with: 'Mesages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device.Make sure you are connected and that your e-mail account settings are correct,then try to download messages again' Is it possible with the port 8080 to retrieve emails or is it just for net access ,i know MSN wont work but not sure about email.
