Guest dhess83 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 When I speak of this, I'm not referring to "tasks" in the sense of the tasks that sync with Outlook, but the "tasks" that are currently running (processes?) I think it would be great to have a today screen plugin, that instead of listing your recently used programs, listed your currently active programs. Also, I'm looking for some small program that could stay resident and cycle through programs when a certain key was hit (the Smartphone equivelant to the PC's Alt + tab). Anyway, I wasn't sure if either of these utilities exist. THe first I think would just be a homescreen plugin, the second would be a stand alone program. Any suggestions from the experts?
Guest Jamma14 Posted August 30, 2005 Report Posted August 30, 2005 XBAR does the Alt Tab function and a bit of task management as well. It is a little pop up menu accessable from whatever program you are in, and is skinable. Am not aware of a task management homescreen plugin, although this homescreen includes a shortcut to the task management program straight from the homescreen. :) (Sorry for the shameless self promotion) ;)
