C500 and TomTom Go Traffic

I have a TTG 500 & an Orange SPV C500. When I try to configure the plus services it connects using dial up and not GPRS (left/right arrows and not the letter G).

How do I change the settings. Orange say it's the TTG that needs to be configured. Any other use of internet on my phone and it connects using GPRS.

Further to this, I've been in touch with TomTom who say the phone needs to be configured so it is GPRS only, no Wap.

Orange have sent me some new settings BUT the problem still remains.

I'd have thought that if I use a dial up connection there would be a record somewhere on my phone of a call being made. Yet I can't find it.

Likewise there is no data log (I'm looking Internet Explorer - Options - Memory).

Where on the C500 are these data calls, or GPRS usage logged???
