Guest Parky Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 Is it possible to unlock the bluetooth facility on an SPV 500 so that you can send files to another person using this facility. Also, can you send texts to other people using bluetooth? Any help appreciaited
Guest furby Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 (edited) Welcome to MoDaCo. A frequent question here, hopefully one day they'll make it obvious. In the file explorer program, find the file you want and select it. You should have and option to BEAM the file. This will try and send the file via IR first, but give it a second and it will start searching for discoverable bluetooth devices. This will no doubt be your next question so... To recieve a file make sure that you have "recieve incoming connections" ticked in the settings, connections, beam (not sure if that is exactly right. If it's your first smartphone though, this is very helpful http://www.modaco.com/First_48_Hours_with_...one-t89276.html edit/ nearly forgot, no you can't send txt msgs via bluetooth. I think you can do something similar with MOBILUCK though Edited August 31, 2005 by Furby™

If at's already on the phone, is it File Manager?

I've had the phone 9 months now infact it's my second SPV 500 as the first kept on freezing - in fact this one is going back soon for the same reason
