We are going to deploy out application on SD cards initially. So where does one buy as small as possible cards ?? I have called a supplier and he only had 128 mb cards for alot of money ;) I only need like a 8 mb card or something!! but I guess that they dont make them anymore...or?? Where does software developer/distributers get there cards from?? :cry: where can I buy the cheapest card on earth? :) I need like 200-300 of them little bastards! I am based in europe/sweden btw.

Hi! You might want to PM Paul on this one. He did some give aways at previous MoDaCo events and these were on 4 or 8mb SD's
Guest Confucious Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 For that sort of quantity you could probably by direct from the manufacturer. I believe the smallest MiniSD cards made were 16Mb, not sure about SD cards though! Which is it you want?

So paul has some SD connections huh? maybe he will read this...? otherwise I will pm him! I did call the sandisk connection in sweden but they gave me a runaround and then came up with 64 mb versions for alot of cash :) the hunt goes on!! thx!

Guest Confucious Posted August 31, 2005 Report Posted August 31, 2005 (edited) Try one of the manufacturers in Taiwan, I think they will probably have stopped making the smaller cards but you should get a good deal going direct, not sure what their minimum quantities are though. SD Cards is one of the products we handled.. however the smallest we usually sell is 512MB/1GB, comes with original package, and warranty. Does not come with packaging though (since it is mainly for promotional purposes). Please review. :o:) Frances
