where and how to get e certificate ?

I have some questions about certificates and .cab .exe files.

As I undertand it you need to certify your .cab files and your homemade applications right??

for them to work properly on a smartphone and pocketpc in winmob 5.0.

So where do you get them from ?? verisign? and is there a procedure to it?

does MS have to "certify" me too?

and when you have bought and gotten your cert do you just use the "cert wizzard" I have seen in the sdk?

does(when u have a certified .cab file) make it possible to install it on any smartphone and pocketpc??

becasue you have to certify .cab files right?

and a final question...is it the same cert onboth the smartphone and the pocketpc?? or do I have to buy 2? :roll:

I'd be interested to know the answer to this as well. You dont need to certify your home made apps if the phone has been application unlocked. SmartGPS that I'm currently developing is not signed, so it will only work on application unlocked phones. If the certificate process is available to the masses at a reasonable cost, then I'd be happy to try and get it signed, but I dont know if this is possible.
