Text message alert problem

Folks,

If I assign a sound to new text messages in "sounds and notifications", bingo, a new text message arrives and the sound plays.

If I then do a soft reset I get no sound on a new text message. If I go into "sounds and notifications" again, the "play sound" box is no longer checked!

This is really annoying!!!

Think it only started when I upgraded to Rom 1.11.

Anyone else suffer from this problem?

Just a guess here but what format file are you using and where are you storing it ?

I've never heard of this problem but what about going for 1.12 ?

I was using a wav file in Windows folder, like I have done in the past. Just in the process of loading 1.12 on and it seems to have done the trick!! Thanks buddy :)
