Guest Dade Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 probably worse than that m8 - she'll want a PSP as well :) She hasn't seen the PSP yet and already she wants the golf game!
Guest Orionping Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 i've only got wipeout at the moment, want NFS Most wanted and Burnout when they come out.
Guest bills1974 Posted September 1, 2005 Report Posted September 1, 2005 Don't know what games are available in the UK, but I have: - Ridge Racers - You guys already seem to love it, great graphics... - MVP Baseball - Terrible, terrible port of the console versions - Untold Legends - "Gauntlet" style game. Not a lot of fun with one person, but if you have multiple people to play wirelessly, it's a lot of fun in adventure mode with more than one person in your party - Hot Shots Golf - Probably the best game out for the PSP. Good graphics, fast loading times, lot of unlockables. I'm pretty addicted to this game. A good site for game/psp info is http://psp.ign.com
Guest Radeon12345 Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I only have at the moment Ridge Racers Wipeout Pure Some of the better games are coming out shortly, games like GTA Liberty City for the PSP, can't wait to try that and Burnout Legends, so many good games :) ;)
Guest kurtfhouse Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I have Ridge Racers Fifa 2005 Can't wait to buy more, I love my PSP :cheesy:
Guest James Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 none :) is it really that good? i am still waiting to see one...
Guest ricmoo2003 Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 (edited) I've had my PSP since March, and am totally addicted to Tiger Woods PGA I also have Spiderman 2 Ridge Racers (Japanese) Need For Speed (Underground Rivals) better than Ridge Racers IMO Wipeout Pure Coded Arms (Bit Tough to Control i think) This thing is awesome and it plays films really well as well, but the webbrowsing sucks bigtime. Guest TheDon Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Got mine in May and the power button on my ps2 hasn't been touched since!!! Have got Ridge Racer, Hot Shots, Wipeout and TOCA It is just such a leap forward in portables!!! :)
Guest inspectorgadjet Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I bought mine with Midnight Club 3 Dub and Tony Hawk's Undergournd 2 Remix. I didn't have time to really look at the games available as I had a Microsoft exam that I was close to being late for so I just grabbed too. But I reckon I'll be down at the shops very soon to buy more. :)

Now that it's officially released in the UK, I'll probably buy Hotshots Golf and Virtua Tennis. Looking forward to GTA and Pro Evo. :)
Guest nickcornaglia Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 I (actually my son) only have Spiderman2, Lumines, and Tony Hawk2. Looking forward to more games being released.
Guest dan13l Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 I've got: Wipeout - Awesome, in every respect. Ridge Racer - Graphically lovely, but I'm finding it a little dull. NFS: Rivals - Pretty good fun. MediEvil - Haven't had a chance to have a good go at this yet. Virtua Tennis - Ditto, although based on previous versions this should be fine. Lumines - Utterly awesome, my most played title. Untold Legends - Good fun if you're after a Diablo style RPG hack 'em up. Hotshots Golf - Also fantastic. I belive this is called Everybodys Golf in Europe.
Guest inspectorgadjet Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 Some of you people have too much money!!!
Guest unclelimey Posted September 5, 2005 Report Posted September 5, 2005 (edited) had mine since march.. i have the following games: Ridge racer Wipeout pure Twisted metal (which i play online thanks to my wi-fi - awesome online game) tony hawks (i created a player with my face mapped on him - im in the game :o ) Hot shots golf Lumines Virtua tennis World snooker SOCOM Navy seals Tokobot Toca Race Driver Ultimate Block Party Mercury Pursuit Force Pro Evolution Soccer 5 Star Wars Battlefront 2 GTA: Liberty Stories Burnout Legends Frantix Edited February 22, 2006 by unclelimey
Guest midnight Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Ridge Racers (JP) Wipeout Pure (US) Lumines (JP) Hot Shots Golf (US) waiting for extreme ghouls and ghosts, pursuit force, burnout legends, gt4 mobile (and Tekken/Soul Calibre whenever they will arrive) :o oh, and lemmings looks cool aswell, but worried about how the controls will be
Guest inspectorgadjet Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 I've added to my collection. I now have: Darkstalker Chronicle - The Chaos Tower Midnight Club 3 Dub Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix Wipeout Pure I have a birthday coming up in just under two weeks and I've made loads of hints as to what would be good presents so will hopefully grow my collection some more soon. :o
Guest venomgames Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 thanks for adding comments- can we all do the same chaps? Mine are (US PSP- bought April) Ridge Racer Frankly disappointed with that one, real physics knocks the bad approximation in this game into a cocked hat Lumines fair enough puzzle game- hardly stretching the console and just bought Ape Academy mini-games, slightly along the lines of WarioWare Touched on the Nintendo DS but hobbled by long load times which do grind after a while Still think the hardware is great, and waiting for Gran Turismo (and perhaps Liberty City Stories) Peter Johnson
Guest midnight Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Ok, some comments :o ... Ridge Racer - one of the gems of the PSP launch, screw real physics, this game is all about fun, and it has it in droves, lots of replay value until you actually complete it and unlock all secrets Lumines - Best puzzle game since Tetris, graphically not amazing (doesnt need to be, its a puzzle game), but the music and sound effects are awesome WipeOut Pure - Graphically the best game available at the moment (has some lovely bloom effects), forget the disaster that was WipeOut Fusion on the PS2, this is the best version of WipeOut yet, and SCEE keep adding to it with track, ship, skin and music(soon) downloads. Hot Shots Golf - My most played game at the moment, this game is totally addictive even if you dont like golf games (girlfriend borrowed my PSP and its all she played for 2 weeks, had a hard time getting the thing back off her :()
Guest confused and hungover Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 last night i had a dream that i bought a PSP. it was a bit twisted, it came with loads of games and a fold out(!) surround sound system that looked like an X-Box(?!) i think my sub concious is telling me to buy one (or an xbox) the girlfriend still maintains that a new fridge is more important than "yet another bloody gadget for you to f*** around with and pay me no attention" :o
Guest inspectorgadjet Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Hmmm...you should definitely get one...the girlfriend will survive. :o Also, I think the pack you mention might actually exist at Game for about £399. It includes a load of games and accessories, but I don't think it has the fold out speaker system. Although they do sell one or two. I kinda like the logitech one.
