help with broken phone

I've not had a play with the MPX220 but I'm curious if your phone may have the internal fuse problem that the MPX200 units have from time to time.

how long have you had it? can you just take it back to the shop?

I've had it since February 05, so it's been about half a year. I bought it online, so I can't just return it. I was hoping maybe I could get a replacement. It was working fine, then all of a sudden the next day I woke up to find my phone turned off, and it wouldn't turn on. I plugged it in, went to my classes, came back, and still it wouldn't turn on. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I plan on calling Motorola then Cingular later tonight when I am home.

Any suggestions? I heard something about Cinguar XBM. I've been having call quality problems with the phone previously as well...

I've got exactly the same problem. Theres a cradle charger on the Moto website that charges the battery seperatly, assuming it's just the phone that won't charge would this solve the problem?

It charges the battery only and its abit of a pain but its better than no phone. The site also delivers to the UK. Mine arrived in about 4 days. Plus spare batterys are going for £10 or less on ebay.

Everything works a treat now. :o
