I have a M500 at the moment but I am looking to replace it with a MDA compact due to problems with Orange(Long Story!!!). Apart from the obivous cosmetic differences and the ROM versions, Are they both Qtek 110s?

Many Thanks in Advance

The M500 is a Qtek 110, but the MDA Compact is a Qtek 100, which has only 64MB of RAM.

I think you'll find that both the M500 and the MDA Compact are equivalent to the QTek S100 as they have 64MB of RAM. The QTek S110 has 128MB of RAM and 64MB of ROM. There is also an iMate Jam Special Edition out in a couple of weeks which also has the 128MB of RAM.

There is also the option of getting the 64MB units upgraded to 128MB, but you'd need to send them away to do that.

It's also worth bearing in mind that iMate and QTek are both releasing the HTC Wizard (like the Jam but with a slide out keyboard) in the next couple of months - Expansys are taking pre-orders now.

martinwilliams999 is wrong, the M500 has just 64MB. Alsicole's post is correct.
