Anyone know where the cheapest place to get PSP memory cards is?

Well, the cheapest place I've seen is eBay. The seemingly reputable ones go for about £70-£78 plus £6-£10 for shipping on a 1GB Memory Stick.

There are other sellers that are offering the 1GB cards for £19-£25 with about £10-£15 postage, but then they have compulsory postal insurance of £19 or so. Seems a bit strange to me.

I'd rather spend the extra £20-£30 to get one form a UK eBay member and feel that little bit safer.

Just a quick question re memory cards...

I assume you can use any Mem Stick Duo card for saving game data/game informationon? They haven't got it like they have with aibo where you need a special mem stick that is a different colour or whatever just for saved game data?

No, any memory stick duo will work sof save games. When you format the Memory Stick in the PSP it sets up the folders that you need for save games, photos, music etc.

Ebay is definitely going to be your best bet on getting a good deal on a memory stick.

so forgive my ignorance, but what's a 'gaming' duo? Is it simply a nicer colour?

it has to be said, it may work well, but it is ridiculously big - i would much rather spend my £150 on a couple of 2 gig high speed cards

meanwhile, to fund my memory stick shopping spree, im willing to sell my 512 gaming duo pro, anyone interested?

spend £150 and get the 4gig from datel. works great
