SMT5600 Remove Program Screen is Empty

I am usign a SMT5600 and when i go to the remove programs screen it is totally blank. It doesn't show any programs that i have installed. I tried doing a factory reset by holding the two soft keys and turning on the phone. All my programs were erased, however, the remove programs screen is still blank. Is it supposed to be blank when i do a factory reset? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is a known bug that after more than 50 items has been installed

the remove progems list will be blank.

To delete items from your phone you need to use Activsync,

when you get below the 50 mark the list will reappear.

There is nothing you can do if you do not use Activsync apart from a hard reset.

Have you never used Activsync to sync your contacts or install any applications of music etc? Or are you using a Mac?

I have the same problem - not using Activesync at all and blank list of programs to be removed.... I am not using pc only mac but not to sync anything just to add things on my miniSD card

is there a chance to avoid hard reset and contact my smartphone with pc? :o

There is a sync application for the Mac but I do not know how good it is.

The problem is that if you have only installed your applications and games etc using the phone you can then only uninstall using the phone.

The only other thing to do is to manually un-install but this means you will have to wade throught all the registry and the system fiels to remove all traces.

.... is it hard to explain how to do it? I have already installed PHM Registry Editor but have no clue what to do with it.

It's not really hard to explain as such, what is hard is knowing the locations where everything is installed, as some applications will do things differently to others.

Also if certain values have only been changed rather than new keys created, you would need to know what the original settings were.

I appraciate your help... but it seems to me that I need try connect my mpx220 to pc and activesync it - maybe I will be able to remove programs that way... but you mentioned that any app installed from miniSD card can be remove only from phone.....

sadly it seems to me that hard reset is the only clue for me
