How to connect to the Internet?

Hi everyone, i am really stuck on how to connect to the Internet on my spv c500 with my usb cable, not using GPRS. ;) I am currently using ActiveSync v4.0, with the new UK update. Please Help , Thanks! :)

You need to use the pass through connection.

1 Attach phone to USB cable

2 Go to the PC active sync program and under Options, set pass through connection= The internet.

3. On the phone go to Settings-Data connections and set 'Internet connection: pass through connection'.

4 On the phone go to Internet Explorer and then Menu-Options-Connections and tick auto detect settings.

You should now be able to use the PC internet connection :)

Just make sure you have no G symbol next to the signal bars when surfing the internet.

ive tried this and everytime i try to get onto a website its sayin ,"sorry the page you are looking for is not available"
