Guest rocks Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 can anyone please help. just bought the mda compact on t-moble a month ago, everything was fine till this tuesday. put the phone on charge when i went to bed as normal, and left it on my bedside table. woke up the next morning to be greated with a text from t-mobile saying that my account was at its credit limet and i need to pay some money to carry on using the phone. my account was froze. i was very confused. checked the phone and noticed that my gprs log was showing that the phone had recieved 22 mg of date, while i was asleep. how the hell can this happen. this is not me trying to get out of paying a bill, i did not use the phone and no one else did. this took place over night. has anyone else had this, is this possible and how, any info please as they are saying i have to pay the bill, and it seems i dont have a leg to stand on. is there any soft ware that could have done this , i had pocket world on there and i know it does ask to connect to the net when u first install, but i pressed the red key for about 5 secs to cancell this out.couls some one hack my account, i really have no clue but my bill is over £140 so i am concerned. cheers stuart
Guest Pondrew Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Can understand why you're upset. One thing I would say is if someone had hacked your account the MDA Compact wouldn't have registered the usuage. Was it your GPRS monitor that registered the 22megs? Did you have any other software or tweaks installed other then Pocket World?
