Guest stroochy Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I've been going round in circles reading posts and don't have the answer: where is the Sound Recorder? I don't have a link to it, and I can't find the program (or dll). Is it the same as the Voice Recorder? I don't think so, since I have read that the Sound Recorder can be used to edit wav files (can it edit other file types?)?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 They are the same AFAIK. On my C500, the target is '23#"\Windows\poutlook.exe" notes ?outres.dll,-10500' and launches Voice Notes aka sound recorder/ voice recorder. You can't edit wav files with the program. Below is a zip file with an LNK inside. Copy 'TRY THIS LINK' to \Storage\windows\Start Menu. Click to see if sound recorder is launched.LINK.zip
Guest Disco Stu Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Windows Sound Recorder can be found on your PC - Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment. :)
Guest stroochy Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Thanks! I just remember reading somewhere in these forums that you could make your wav files louder by using Sound Recorder. I guess they meant to use the PC version of Sound Recorder, then send that file to the phone.
