Guest poulidis Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 I have had problems activesyncing my mpx220 over bluetooth. I had read and tried every guide on the internet, but nothing worked. The solution is: Pair your phone and your PC from the PC, and the most important!!!!: CHOOSE A PASSKEY!! I tried several times without a passkey, and when I entered 54321 for a passkey, it immediately worked. And make sure you have the microsoft drivers installed (and not the bluesoleil or other app's). Hope that helps.
Guest w411y Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 now that youve activesynced over bluetooth have you successfully been able to use your PCs internet through your phone ?
Guest poulidis Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 Yes. Go to activesync, File > Connection Settings > This computer is connected to: The Internet. (that's Activesync 4) Then Activesync. Then go to your smartphone: Menu > Settings > Data Connections > Internet Connection > Pass through. That's all.

Guest poulidis Posted September 4, 2005 Report Posted September 4, 2005 Are you sure you are connected to the internet? If you are, try this: On your phone, go to Start>Settings>Bluetooth>Menu>COM ports. Then create a new incoming port, and tri it again. Let me know how that went.
