is there anyway to tell if you have missed a call with the M500 without looking at the call history?

There'll be a telephone icon with an exclamation mark next to it in the top status bar. You can also get today screen plugins which show the missed calls and the number that was calling.

That’s great, people kept telling me they had called me and unless they left a message I could not tell.

I think I will have a look for the today screen plugin as well.

Thanks

If you have anything else in the taskbar such as a text/headset/wifi symbol, then a missed call would be shown by replacing the symbol with a speech bubble symbol. When you cick on the speech bubble, it pops up a seperate line below with the multiple symbols ie, missed call and voicemail, you can then click on the missed call to see the details or the voicemail to call your ansaphone.

Yes I had a voice mail today, I am getting used to it now and don't think I will bother with the today screen plug-in that Metoo mentioned.
