Guest grumpy_old_technobyte Posted September 6, 2005 Report Posted September 6, 2005 Hey Ive got a MS.PDA(dell axim x3i) and use the thing everyday. Would love to have a PSP but dont know if worth it. Can I use it for PDA functions to replace my PDA from the old years (2003). I browsed one at Fry's Electronics and played Twisted Metal till me old fingers went numb because of arthritis.catman.bmp
Guest drlau9 Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 There is a usb keyboard out for it, and using the Howebrew software you can get notepad / word document. So yeah of course you can use it as a pda, however the keyboards aren't released in the UK yet. Dr.
Guest andrewkeith5 Posted December 26, 2005 Report Posted December 26, 2005 you will not be able to run homebrew software on any psp system bought now, however there are many web-based javascript programs that work as organisers etc, however nothing i know of for the psp has the power of windows mobile at organising things - i tend to use my psp for fun-orientated stuff and my pda and mobile for business/school orientated stuff http://javascript.internet.com is a good place to start if you want to find javascript calendars etc., and theres amass of sites out there with free javascript calendars and things psp is still worth every penny (or cent if you come from "land of the free") no insult intended from my last comment There is a usb keyboard out for it, and using the Howebrew software you can get notepad / word document. So yeah of course you can use it as a pda, however the keyboards aren't released in the UK yet. Dr. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
