SPV C550 - Home screen time out issue

So.

Brand new shiny SPV C550 - but the screen blanks out/(times out?) after 60 seconds no matter what the setting.

I've checked all the settings - but am at a loss as none fit!

Ideas?

What settings have you looked at?

The backlight is controlled in Settings\Power Management

Unfortunately this has been found to be a 'feature' at present on the C550. There are many possible reasons for it, new screen technology in the QVGA screen being one.

Most C550 users have found that it's best not to set the screen timeout to Never anyway as the battery life apparently suffers badly when you do...
