problems with midlets on i-mate jam

Hi,

I'm not sure this is the right forum for this, but still....

I'm a developer creating a small MIDlet. My midlet runs fine on various platforms, but on the i-mate jam I get an error message: "Failed to run the MIDlet" when I try to run it (the installation goes well).

I've tested other midlets which I downloaded from the net, and they show the same behavior. Is there anything I need to setup/install so my device can run midlets. If anyone has any midlet that's working on an i-mate jam, I'll be happy if you can send it to me to check.
