Sound issue on C500

Hi Guys

I have a SPV C500 and it seems the speaker is broke, Ive gone into the profile settings and the ring volume is on loud and still its quiet, Also when i play a song in windows media player 10 with volume on 100% its quiet.

What do i do? do i phone orange and see what they say or is there anything else i should check.

P.S ive turned the phone on and off and still nuffin and its fully charged

try this out

you will need the following:

-hammer

-phone

put your phone on a table and take the hammer and lift it into the air, then quickly slam the hammer onto your phone

that should fix it ;-)

I'm not sure what's causing that TBH :|

You could try going Settings-Profiles, Menu-Reset to Default and see if that overides any registry settings.

Other people here might have ideas but other than that I would probably hard reset and hope that it clears it up.

After leaving it overnight my ringtone is now loud but wmp10 isnt the volume is on 100% but i will try the reset :o

makesure the little rocker button used for incall volume is turned right up, that effects the volume stuff is at on the phone, i found that out after some messing about with mine in a similar situation. if that dont work, try the reset!? :|
