SPV E200 UNLOCK Help!

Can anyone tell me how to unlock my e200 without the £20 charge have tried e200unlock.exe on windows xp but doesn't work any ideas would be great.cheers

There was a free method of patching an E200 rom on installing it that would sim unlock the SPV E200. It had the same filename as the one you mention but I suspect the file you have is part of the imei-check unlock method and useless unless you buy the unlock.

Unfortunately the site that used to host the free unlock method has stopped. I'll let you know if I find a new source that doesn't require membership :?:

Back up your data if you want to just incase it goes wrong. I didn’t and had no problems but if you prefer doing this then do so.

Right First off you need to download the two files I have attatched to this post.

Then your fone needs to application unlocked.

To do this run the regedit .exe file and install it on theSD CARD.

Once you have done this go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\policies\policies(yes twice)\values(left soft key)

Then find the values “00001001” and “00001005”

Open 00001001 and change the VALUE DATA field to 1 and click done.

Then open 00001005 and change the VALUE DATA to 40.

Click done, exit the regedit program and reboot your phone. I.e. turn of and on again. Nothing special.

Then install the Cert .cab file on the root of the SD CARD. Then connect your phone with active sync.

Then from the PC run the SPV SERVICES program.

Choose “Simlock Tool alpha”

Type agree and then that should do it.

nevawlkalone, u sure that this process works for the HTC Voyager (SPV E200)? I knew it worked on the C500/C550. Can anyone confirm?

Hi tried your method got to the end where it said type agree and noticed it was for a c500/c550 but said buggar it and tried it anyway but never worked.

seen as how i fluffed the last thing dat i suggested as it did not work. i went out n found this. I dont know if this works as it is for your make n model not the c550 so give me a shout wen youve tried it
