Completley black typhoon / c500

I've replaced the battered covers on a silver c500 with the only spares I have - black, and this is the result ( after swopping the power button too ) - looks pretty cool huh?

...well, s'pose you did do it first but I must confess never to having seen your pics before doing mine. I'm in two minds on the power button colour - sometimes I prefer it black, sometimes silver...

The first ebay auction went OK, the second handset not so good. But Pondrew also bought one so only 2 more left to flog to buy something new :(

Heh. What Fluffcat1 didn't point out was that I asked for an Audiovox front, just to be different ;-)

Check out the pics taken with my MDA III. An Audiovox front, C500 back, all in black and with a rather early version of the Orange UK C500 rom (doubt I'll keep that long though...). And thanks again Richard, very good service.

So when are you going to update your profile?..... 'limited edition of 1 all-black c500' - who else has that combo AND a 'not for resale' splashed rom?...

Just backup your rom before you update it, for posterity - they update to 4.1.1.2 fine. If you ever want to go silver I've got a few fronts but not so many back covers.

Exactly why I don't bother - got approx 9 c500's, 3 e200's, 2 e100's, 7 spv's, 3 mpx200's, 2 mpx220's - Oh and a couple of VOQ's.. all available at the right price if anyone's interested?....
