Guest Socrates Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 I have AT&T in the US and an Audiovox SMT5600. This means I can roam on cingular for free since they are the same company but havent' unified all the antennas yet. The problem is that as of this morning I can no longer pull up web sites or connect my VPN when roaming on cingular. Roaming on cingular is very important to me as there are several places, including in my house, where the ATT antennas are just really really bad. Any ideas? I haven't changed anything. Also, I dont' know if it's relevant but about 3 days ago, my WMP started freezing up but only on certain songs and only when I use BlueTunes to play the music through the bluteooth headset... this never used to happen.
Guest pauliewog63 Posted September 9, 2005 Report Posted September 9, 2005 (edited) I would look at the Cingular site for more info on the settings for that phone. When I changed to WM 2003 they were pretty helpful in getting my settings set up for my MPx200 when I was Cingular / At&t. Even though I was not charged roaming charges I was always on roaming when in my local area of the house due to the change in companies. Try Starting here > http://support.cingular.com/help/ Log in and find your phone or go to the support fourms which is where I received most of the info I needed. Guest Socrates Posted September 10, 2005 Report Posted September 10, 2005 I will certainly check that link, but the problem is that the settings were already working and nothing changed that I know of.
