Bluetooth File Transfer

Hi there, im hoping someone can shed some light on this...

file transfer from other phones to mine wasn't working and i assumed that it was just the phone not able to do it...then it started working (i changed something and cant remember what) and now i've updated the rom to 4.2.1.1 and the original problem is occuring,

the other phones either get 'cannot connect' or 'service not supported'

i've tried with bluetooth both 'on' and 'discoverable'

any ideas? :o

I've had similar issues with BT transfer. Sammy's gernerally won't connect and some Moto's are difficult. Nok's seem fine, especially if Series 60 or 90 OS.

My biggest problem is trying to locate the damned files on my phone once they've been received. Where on earth does it put them??

I've found 2 files slotted into the folder which must contain background images for the homescreen but I can't find this folder using File Manager. Grrr.

Anyone any ideas here?

Mmmm-drink - you don't say which device you're using..... although the only advice I could give is either reboot the thing and try again or don't bother in the first place :o

ah sorry, its an spv c500...tried lots of things, its annoying me now!

it usually saves the files in \storage\my documents

First place I looked - you'd think it the obvious place to dump files wouldn't you?
